Trailer service & repair - including Catering & Horsebox trailors

We service and repair all makes and models of trailers; including general purpose trailers, catering trailers & horse trailers.

Although trailers are not yet subject to MOT’s in the UK they are required to be road worthy by law. The biggest problems with trailers is due to their lack of use, bearings rust and brake linings delaminate with no warning until the next time the trailer is used.

To keep your trailer safe and road worthy, manufacturers recommend periodic inspection and maintenance of;

• 12V Electrical Systems 13 pin, 12n &12s plugs, cables, road lights and charging systems.

• Gas catering appliances & Installations should be inspected for safety and operational performance to manufactures specifications as a minimum annually.

• Gas Safety Inspections & Certificates are available and recommended annually as a minimum.

• Bodywork, floor and wall panels, grab handles, windows and doors condition and security.

Horse trailer servicingHorse trailers experience the same problems with running gear, brakes and tyres as general purpose trailers do, due to the lack of use they corrode, stick or seize. In addition, horse trailers suffer with wall and floor panel damage due to the nature of use.
