A static caravan or holiday home can require a great deal of maintenance similar to that of a permanent dwelling. The correct care and static caravan service is very important, 
particularly during the closed season (if uninhabited) and during the winter months.

• Gas Systems and appliances should be inspected for safety and operational performance to manufactures instructions and as a minimum annually.
• Flexible hoses, regulators and safety devices should also be checked annually. An Annual Gas Safety Certificate will be issued on satisfactory completion of all inspections .
• Electrical system wiring integrity check (plug top test), switches, light fittings and operational test of any safety devices.
• Damp & Drainage system inspection roofs, gutters and down pipes can easily become clogged with moss and leaves. Maintaining the exterior of your static caravan not only keeps it looking its best, it also helps prevent the build up of debris, mould and damp.
• Chassis condition, rust and anchorage including body mounting points.
• Safety Equipment smoke, carbon monoxide alarms and fire extinguishers require periodic maintenance and, along with fire blankets, the location is critical.
